§ 3. [Same—Powers re personnel and rule-making.]

The district board shall have and they are hereby vested with the power and authority to hire necessary personnel to operate the affairs of the Hernando fire tax district. Such personnel shall include clerical, supervisory and technical assistance in the management of the district. The board shall make any necessary rules and regulations for the proper handling of the affairs of the authority, and it is vested with police powers in enforcing its rules and regulations toward the effective handling of fire protection.
