§ 7-94. Mooring to bitts, cleats, bollards or pilings required.
Latest version.
All moored vessels shall be secured by attachment to bitts, cleats, bollards, or to
pilings or secured hardware of sufficient strength to clinch them to the adjacent
bulkhead, seawall, dock or pier. No vessels shall be moored to trees, shrubs, houses
or other structures on shore, or to bridges, bridge approaches, bridge fenders, or
piles driven or placed for the protection of bridges or their approaches.
