§ 2-1. Race track funds; distribution.

(a)

All of the monies received by the county under the provisions of Florida Statutes chapter 550, and all laws amendatory or supplementary thereto, shall be apportioned and distributed as follows:

(1)

The first thirty-four thousand dollars ($34,000.00) shall be distributed to the board of county commissioners;

(2)

The next one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00) shall be distributed to Lykes Memorial Hospital;

(3)

The next eight thousand five hundred dollars ($8,500.00) shall be distributed to the county board of public instruction;

(4)

The balance of the funds shall be distributed fifty (50) percent to the board of county commissioners and fifty (50) percent to the county board of public instruction.

(b)

The funds provided for allocation and distribution in paragraph (a) of this section shall be paid by the comptroller of the state directly to the agencies so designated and the comptroller is hereby empowered and directed to issue his warrant directly to such agencies of the county, for the monies in the manner and amount provided in paragraph (a) of this section.
