§ 28-237. General provisions.

(a)

Short title. This division shall be known and may be cited as "the water and sewer district's operating and rate ordinance" (ordinance).

(b)

Purpose. The purpose of the ordinance is to establish requirements for connecting to the district's water and/or sanitary sewer systems; guarantees and rights of the district; requirements for plumbing maintenance; standards for wastewater effluent discharged into the district's systems; procedures for establishing, billing and collecting rates, fees, and charges for water and sanitary sewer service; and the repeal of Ordinance 94-13.

(c)

Administration. The ordinance shall be administered by the department.
