Article VI. SENIOR CITIZEN ADDITIONAL HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION |
§ 27-93. Generally.

An additional homestead exemption is hereby allowed for any person who has legal or equitable title to real estate and maintains therein their permanent residence as owner, who is age sixty-five (65) and older, and whose household income does not exceed the income limitation of twenty-three thousand four hundred fourteen dollars ($23,414.00) as adjusted pursuant to section 27-97 herein. Such homestead exemptions shall only apply to taxes levied by Hernando County, including dependent special districts and municipal service taxing units.
