§ 25.5-18. Signs at construction sites.

  • In addition to any other signs authorized by this chapter, signs may be located on a work site when a builder, subcontractors or other entities are involved in the work activity occurring thereon. One (1) additional sign per builder, subcontractor or other entity involved in work activity on the lot or parcel is allowed. Such additional signs shall be allowed in all zoning districts. Such signs located on residential lots or parcels shall not exceed six (6) square feet in sign area. Such signs located on nonresidential lots or parcels shall not exceed sixty-four (64) square feet in sign area. All such additional signs displayed during construction shall be located at least ten (10) feet from all lot or parcel lines and shall be removed prior to issuance of the certificate of occupancy. No zoning permit or certificate of use is required for these signs.
