§ 25.5-10. Permitted signs in all zoning districts.

Signs in compliance with the size, height and setback limitations herein for any applicable zoning district, land use, and road classification and frontage which are incidental to a legal process or necessary to protection of the public health, safety or welfare are allowed without requirement of zoning permit or certificate of use.

Hernando County's use of mass transit bus benches and/or shelters throughout the unincorporated county that contain advertising/public service messages are allowed without a zoning permit or certificate of use. The size, height, and content limitations on bus/shelter signs are governed by the Transit Advertising Policy No. 32-01.
