§ 23-65. Intents and purposes.

(a)

This division is intended to implement and be consistent with the Hernando County Comprehensive Plan.

(b)

The purpose of this division is to regulate the use and development of land so as to assure that new development bears a proportionate share of the cost of capital expenditures necessary to provide educational facilities as contemplated by, and in implementation of, the Hernando County Comprehensive Plan and chapters 163 and 1013 of the Florida Statutes, as these laws may be amended or renumbered from time to time.
