§ 23-54. Penalty and enforcement provision.

A violation of this division shall be a misdemeanor punishable according to law; however, in addition to or in lieu of any criminal prosecution, Hernando County, or any fire and emergency medical services facilities impact fee payer, shall have the power to sue for relief in civil court to enforce the provisions of this division. Knowingly furnishing false information to the county administrator, or his/her designee, or any municipal official who is charged with the administration of this division on any matter relating to the administration of this division shall constitute a violation thereof.
