§ 20-22. Failure to remove; misdemeanor.

Any person who fails, neglects or refuses to remove an abandoned or inoperative vehicle or to properly store such vehicle and abate such nuisance in accordance with the notice given pursuant to the provisions of section 20-21 shall, upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a misdemeanor and be punished as provided in section 1-8 of this Code; provided that this section shall not prevent issuance of a citation pursuant to code enforcement procedures authorized under Florida law and this Code.
