§ 19-92. Penalty for violations.

  • (a)

    In addition to other penalties provided by this chapter, any mining operator who engages in willful violation of the provisions of this chapter or who wilfully misrepresents any fact in any action taken pursuant to this act or willfully gives false information in any application or report required by this chapter, shall be guilty upon conviction of a misdemeanor punishable as provided in Chapter 125 of the Florida Statutes. Each day of continued violation after receipt of written notice shall constitute a separate offense.

    (b)

    This chapter may be enforced in accordance with the provisions of section 1-8 or chapter 2, article III, of the County Code of Ordinances, or in accordance with any applicable provisions of law.

    (c)

    Any person who trespasses or willfully removes the no trespassing signs required under this chapter, or any other signs required by federal or state regulatory agencies, shall be guilty upon conviction of a misdemeanor punishable as provided in Chapter 15, Florida Statutes.
